The legal team representing Sean “Diddy” Combs has requested a judge to reveal the names of his accusers. According to Variety, the lawyers argued that he needs to know the identities the alleged victims in order to accurately prepare for trial. “This case is unique, in part because of the number of individuals levying allegations against Mr. Combs due to his celebrity status, wealth, and the publicity of his previously settled lawsuit and the grand jury leaks and false inflammatory statements by the DHS agents, as outlined in our previous motion,” detailed a letter signed Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos,“ This has had a pervasive ripple effect, resulting in a torrent of allegations by unidentified complainants, spanning from the false to outright absurd the request comes after six new lawsuits were filed against Combs anonymously to protect the identities of the alleged victims on Monday (Oct. 14). Two of the accusers are listed as Jane Doe and the other four as John Doe. The lawsuits are included in what their lawyers say is a group of more than 100 alleged victims of Combs’ crimes his legal team asserts that “swirling allegations have created a hysterical media circus that, if left unchecked, will irreparably deprive Mr. Combs of a fair trial, if they haven’t already.” Combs is due to stand trial in May 2025. After his September arrest, he faces charges of racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and remains behind bars.
