San Antonio Spurs Canceling Knicks Fans' Tickets For NBA Finals Game 5

San Antonio announced on the Ticketmaster page for tickets that they are restricting ticket sales to Knicks’ fans for Saturday’s Game 5 at Frost Bank Arena Nearly half of the tickets purchased for the game are from New York/New Jersey area codes, according to TickPick. Gametime confirmed on Friday that 54% of tickets have been sold to fans in the NY/NJ area codes. Alan Hahn reported Thursday on “Don, Hahn and Rosenberg” that all direct flights from New York and Newark to San Antonio were booked, along with all flights from L.A. to San Antonio. The Knicks took a 3-1 series lead on Wednesday after a wild 29-point comeback in the second half, the largest in NBA Finals history. With a win in Game 5, the Knicks will secure their first championship since 1973 and their third all-time.
