The feud between Safaree Samuels and Meek Mill came to a head outside of DJ Khaled’s BET party on Friday, according to TMZ.
In video that made its way to social media Friday night, Samuels claims Meek Mill’s crew ambushed him outside the West Hollywood Penthouse where the party was being held.
“Meek, you are the biggest p----y on the this planet,” he said in the short clip, allegedly recorded immediately following the incident. “You saw me, you ain’t do s--t, you had your n-----s jump me. One-on-one you can’t f--- with me, so that’s why you had to do that.”
Separate video sees Meek Mill arrive at the event, seemingly just after his rival. The moment he steps out of a black SUV, a pair of men can be seen charging at Safaree. The assailants were friends of the Philly rapper, sources told TMZ.
They manage to grab hold of the “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” star, but only for a moment. Safaree manages to escape their grasp, and puts a fair bit of distance between himself and his attackers before they are subdued.
As he walks away, Samuels can be heard shouting insults in Meek’s direction.
Samuels in his follow-up videos implied that he was not injured in the scuffle.
“All-white, I’m still clean,” he said, referring to his wardrobe.
Minaj and Samuels split in October 2014 after years of dating, reportedly over his jealousy over the “Bang Bang” singer’s success.
In the following months, Meek and Minaj sparked romance rumors after being spotted together several times and sharing a series of cozy Instagram pictures.
In February 2015, the Head Barb announced Meek would open her Pinkprint tour, with Meek confirming their relationship on Instagram that April.
In December 2016, fans began speculating the couple had split after Minaj unleashed a series of cryptic posts on social media. She confirmed the split via Twitter on Jan. 5, 2017: “... yes I am single. focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing with you guys really soon. Have blessed New Year. Love u.”
