Sade To Sing Original Song For Ava DuVernay’s ‘A Wrinkle In Time’

Sade is releasing her first new music since the 2010 album “Soldier of Love.”

The icon is contributing an original song to Ava DuVernay’s “A Wrinkle in Time.”

DuVernay tweeted Monday, “I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway. She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget . . . [The song’s title] is ‘Flower of the Universe.’ ”

Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Storm Reid are among the cast of the film, coming out March 9.
