Russell Simmons Finally Found A Buyer For His NYC Penthouse

Disgraced music mogul and entrepreneur Russell Simmons is finally in contract to sell his Financial District penthouse — nine years after it first went on the market.

Simmons was plagued by allegations of rape and violent sexual assault by three women — who all spoke out in the #MeToo documentary about him, “On the Record.” He has denied all charges and a judge recently granted his motion to dismiss one accuser’s suit.

The palatial pad at 114 Liberty St. was last asking $5.5 million — more than half off its original asking price of $11 million back in 2012.

The sprawling, five-bedroom residence by the World Trade Center is 7,175 square feet and features more than 3,500 square feet of outdoor spaces over three planted terraces.

Inside, there is plenty of entertaining space. The five-bedroom unit features 12-foot barrel-vaulted ceilings, oak floors, a screening room, an eat-in kitchen and a library with a gas fireplace. The 11-story building dates to 1913.

The listing broker is Carl Gambino of the Modlin Group.

The Modlin Group also repped the buyer and seller of pedophile Jeffery Epstein’s Upper East Side mansion. That mansion recently sold to ex-Goldman Sachs veteran Michael Daffey for $51 million, down from its original $88 million ask.
