Rocawear Targets South Florida Wholesaler With Lawsuit.

The proprietor of two South Florida wholesale companies is being taken to court by the owners of the Rocawear for allegedly making knockoff garments of the clothing label founded by rap moguls Dame Dash and Jay-Z.

Attorney's representing Rocawear and Rocawear Licensing LLC filed a lawsuit in the Southern District of Florida in the Fort Lauderdale division accusing Bargain Wholesaler and Top Brand Wholesalers owner Ahmad Jamhour of marketing bogus Rocawear products, specifically jean capris and ladies tops.

Jamhour has a history with manufacturing counterfeit products. In December of 2009, Bravado International Group, which controls the rights to distribute Michael Jackson products, also sued Jamhour and his company Top Brands Wholesalers, for allegedly producing fake MJ gear.

Rocawear is seeking a permanent injunction against Jamhour that would prohibit him from associating his company with any Rocawear products.
