Robin Thicke is still determined to “Get Her Back.” Her being his estranged wife, Paula Patton, of course. Just a few weeks ago, we told you that the soulful R&B crooner publicly apologized to Paula during his Billboard Awards performance of “Get Her Back.” He did something quite similar at tonight’s BET Awards.
“Good Evening, my name is Robin Thicke,” a solemn Robin said at the start of his performance. “I’d like to dedicate this song to my wife. I just want to say that I miss you and I’m sorry.
He then began to sing another song off of his new album, “Paula,” titled “Forever Love.” It was a very heartfelt performance. We can’t help but wonder what Paula thinks about all of this.
Of course, Chris Rock had major jokes once the performance concluded, but at this point we doubt Robin cares about who’s clowning him. One of two things were probably on his mind tonight:
1. Pushing his new album
2. Actually getting his wife back.
Either way, it was a great performance.
