Robin Thicke has something to sing about.
The crooner and his wife, "Precious" actress Paula Patton, welcomed their first child, Julian Fuego, on Tuesday in Los Angeles, People.com reports.
"Mother, father and son are all doing well," Thicke's rep said.
Though the singer had "personal reasons" for canceling his part of Tuesday night's concert in Los Angeles, his "Freedom Tour" cohort, Alicia Keys, reportedly offered the new parents her well wishes from the stage.
Thicke told Essence.com that he was looking forward to teaching his new son life lessons, however he is also nervous about being a first-time parent.
"I'm afraid of not being patient enough, but most of the time that's when I'm scared or worried about the future," he said in December. "I want to work on that. But my biggest fear is being able to be there, because I don't know if kids ever think their parents were there enough."
He added, "Teaching him how to respect a woman. Teaching him music. Getting to play him Biggie Smalls at some age, we'll experience that together. That's the beauty of having a child."
Thicke, 32, and Patton, 34, are high school sweethearts who will be celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary in June.
