Robert Durst Accidently Confesses To Murders On HBO

New York real-estate scion Robert Durst appeared to confess he “killed them all” in the shocking finale of a documentary that aired a day after he was arrested on a murder warrant.

In the final episode of the HBO series “The Jinx,” the eccentric multimillionaire seemed to acknowledge responsibility in two slayings he’s denied being involved in for years.

“There it is. You’re caught,” Durst whispered to himself in an unguarded moment in the documentary, apparently unaware the microphone he was wearing was still hot.

He looked as if he were unraveling under pressure, saying to himself, “What the hell did I do? Killed them all, of course.”

The stunning twist followed the cross-dressing oddball’s arrest Saturday in the Big Easy. FBI agents busted Durst at about 11 p.m. at the JW Marriott hotel in New Orleans on a first-degree warrant in the murder of Susan Berman nearly 15 years ago.

The 71-year-old Durst was registered at the hotel under a false name and mumbling to himself when he was nabbed in the lobby, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Durst was acquitted in 2003 of the grisly murder of his neighbor in Galveston, Tex., despite admitting that he dismembered the man.

He has been back in the limelight as the subject of “The Jinx,” a six-part documentary that investigates that murder, in addition to the 1982 disappearance of his first wife, Kathie Durst, 29, and the slaying of Berman, 55, who was shot in Los Angeles in 2000.

Durst has long maintained he had no involvement in his wife’s disappearance or the murder of Berman, his college pal and one-time flack.

“Nothing has changed,” his lawyer Chip Lewis told The Associated Press on Sunday, adding that Durst does not plan to challenge extradition to L.A.

Still, Durst has long been suspected of foul play in his wife’s disappearance. He told cops he dropped her off Jan. 31, 1982, at the Metro-North train station near their Westchester County home. She was never seen again.

“I’m kind of floating right now,” said Kathie Durst’s brother James McCormack.

“What the hell did I do?

Killed them all, of course.”
