Rihanna prevented a fashion faux pas on Tuesday night, stepping out to a Katy Perry concert in New York with some strategic undergarments.
The Barbadian beauty wore a striped mini skirt and a sheer black top, which turned transparent under the glare of the paparazzi's flashes. But the smart singer had a pair of bright pink pasties under her shirt, preventing any unwanted photo ops.

It's not the first time the stylista has used pasties to avoid style slip-ups. While partying in Las Vegas on the Fourth of July, Rihanna wore a pair of sequined pasties underneath a black blazer.

It looks like Rihanna has wised up to the paparazzi's ways of capturing more than meets the eye. Perhaps other starlets should take notice.
