RIHANNA GETS HER OWN FASHION-CENTRIC COMPETITION SHOW

She’s already got the music industry eating out of the palm of her hand, and now Rihanna has got designs on TV.

The grammy-winning pop queen, 24, will star in and executive produce a new fashion-centric competition show for the Style channel called “Styled to Rock.”

The show, slated to air next year, will pit 12 aspiring designers against each other for the chance to create fashion pieces for celebrities.

The 10-episode, hourlong series — the first competition show for the network, is slated to debut next year.

“Fashion has always played an integral part in my life and career,” Rihanna said in a statement. “I am so excited to partner with Style Network and share my creative insight with these 12 designers and give them this opportunity to showcase their work.”

Much like other fashion competition shows, “Styled to Rock” is expected to feature weekly challenges that “push the designers to their creative limits,” according to network officials.

Experts from the fashion industry will also be on hand to serve as mentors to the competitors, and celebrity guests will help declare challenge winners.

Each week, one contestant will be sent home and those remaining will advance to the next week’s challenge. At the end, one aspiring designer will be named the winner. Prizes are still being determined.
