IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

When Jay-Z and Rihanna came up to collect the Grammy for best rap/sung collaboration, for "Run this Town," what drew the most attention wasn't Rihanna's high-necked feathered dress, or the fact that Jay-Z was with a hottie and rumored former flame - Rihanna - who was not his wife.
It was, who's the kid?

The adorable, beaming little boy is in fact Jay-Z's nephew-in-law, the son of Beyonce's sister Solange, whose Uncle Hov apparently invited him to help accept the award.

Little Julez (pronounced Jules) Smith Jr. is Solange Knowles' son with ex-husband Daniel Smith, who was her high-school sweetheart growing up in Houston, Texas. She married and had Julez when he was just 17.

His first, uncredited appearance was in Solange's belly in the Destiny's Child video for "Soldier," according to MTV.com.

Mom also recorded a song for him, "Ode to Julez," which appeared on her 2008 album Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams.

After Rihanna and Jay-Z said their thank yous, Rihanna hoisted Julez up to the mike and offered the five-year-old a chance make his own remarks.

While he responded "No thanks," he said it with a lot of confidence and not an ounce of shyness, looking every bit the star in his little tuxedo.

Holding your own before a crowd of thousands and stealing the limelight from two superstars? Not bad for someone barely old enough for kindergarten.
