Rick Ross Released From Jail After Traffic Violation & Weed Possession Arrest

William Leonard Robert, better known as rapper Rick Ross, was arrested in Fayette County, which is about 25 miles south of Atlanta.

According to a spokesperson with Fayette County, the rapper was arrested on a traffic violation and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

He was taken to the Fayette County Jail where he was released late Wednesday night.

CBS46 News was the only media outlet there as he was released.

When he walked out of jail, he had this to say, before squirting a red, liquid substance at our camera.

“I had to smoke one, you know?” said Ross.
