Rick Ross’ story and rise to fame will soon be available for all to read.
The 43-year-old rapper will release his first memoir, “Hurricanes,” this fall, according to Entertainment Weekly.
“My story has always been deeper than rap,” Ross said in a statement. “With this book I wanted to go deeper than I ever have. I wanted to tell people about the life of William Leonard Roberts.”
The book is expected to cover Ross’ upbringing in Carol City — a neighborhood of Miami — his past as a drug dealer and a corrections officer, his health woes and seizures, his 2015 arrest on kidnapping and assault charges and more.
It’s unclear if it will cover his thoughts on fatherhood. In November, he welcomed a son named Billion.
“Hurricanes” is expected to be released on September 3.
