RICK ROSS MIGHT BE LEAVING DEF JAM!

Rumor has it, Rick Ross will make a move from Def Jam to Interscope. From what I have been told, Ross has fulfilled his contractual obligations with Def Jam as a soloist with the release of Teflon Don. But, moreover, I am hearing they are getting rid of the potential for conflict. “What conflict?” you may ask. Like I said before, I keep hearing Chris Lighty is coming to Def Jam to push the rap stuff over there. You may recall that Chris acts or acted as manager for 50 Cent. He runs and owns Violator Management. I heard they wanted to keep it 100 and not interfere with Ross’ career and also allow Chris Lightly to do his thing. Plus, Diddy – Ross’ current manager – has Bad Boy over with Interscope. So, that’s a win win. G-Unit is not over there at Interscope anymore so there’s no issues there. SOURCE:
