RG the Baron Making Noise With New Track "Haha"

“Now I’m on root for the takeover”

A simple yet beautiful line from RG The Baron’s new single. The Manchester rapper has returned to us with a new single titled “Haha” but equally as important, it comes with its own interesting backstory which we’ll explore later.

“He died in 2003 but his music was just real and authentic” is how RG describes his inspiration, New Orleans Soulja Slim. “A lot of rappers don’t live what they talk but Soulja Slim was genuine”. Surprisingly (or not), we can start to notice things in common between RG and his own inspiration! Interestingly, RG-The-Baron lived the New Orleans culture. He was brought up on south music. He even made a track with a well known New Orleans artist called Fiend, who has worked with the likes of Snoop Dogg and Lil Wayne!

As for “Haha” itself, RG wrote the track due to his own hardships. For example, since covid came along, he was unfortunately made redundant from his job. “I just wanted to make light of the bad situations”. You can tell by one listen from his song that he is already making a comeback despite everything which no one cannot respect!

What’s next for RG? Well, he seems to already have a plan. RG hopes to push into mainstream radio and have a song entered into the UK charts! He acknowledges the hard work needed and tells us “new track material” and “a lot of work in motion”. I guess only time can tell what RG does next.
