Minnesota rapper Lexii Alijai’s cause of death has been revealed.
The 21-year-old rapper died last month from mixed fentanyl and ethanol (alcohol) toxicity, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed to E! News. The manner of death was accidental.
Alijai, whose full name is Alexis Alijai Lynch, was the granddaughter of singer-songwriter Roger Troutman. She gained a large following on Soundcloud, Instagram and YouTube before releasing her debut full-length album, “Growing Pains,” in September 2017.
She also collaborated with California singer-songwriter Kehlani on her singles “Jealous” and “You Should Be Here,” which was nominated for a Grammy.
