R. KELLY HAD EMERGENCY THROAT SURGERY

R. Kelly is recovering in a Chicago hospital today after undergoing emergency throat surgery yesterday, according to MyFoxChicago.com.

The Chicago singer went to the hospital and had the surgery performed yesterday but no further information has been released about the seriousness of his condition.

Last week, Kellz expressed problems with his throat over the popular networking site Twitter, typing,

“I refuse to take another cup of theraflu! I feel like my throat is coming back. I've been in bed sweating like crazy. Thanks guys!”
