Quando Rondo and his entourage were reportedly shot at following one of the rapper’s concerts in Georgia on Sunday morning.
According to TMZ, the shooters opened fire at Rondo, 22, and his team at a convenience store in Blackshear around 3:20 a.m. They believe the shooters were across the street.
It does not appear that Rondo was hurt in the incident since, according to sources, he was not at the scene when police officers arrived.
However, sources told TMZ that a member of Rondo’s crew was shot in the hand and treated at a local hospital.
The gunmens’ motives are unknown, but police sources told TMZ that Rondo’s entourage had been involved in another shooting that claimed the life of rapper King Von back in November, so perhaps this was retaliation.
Page Six has reached out to Blackshear City Police Department for more information.
Rondo has not commented on what took place on social media, but did post an image with Lil Phat’s “Lord” playing over it.
The song’s lyrics state, “When I die, label me a thug n–a/ Bury me aside one of my favorite drug dealers.”
