California police made a huge arrest this week following the heist of a cargo train to the tune of over $200,000. The thieves were found with several pairs of Nikes and Air Jordans. The seven arrested individuals reportedly intercepted a cargo train traveling through the Mojave Desert in Amboy, Calif., and drove the loot 190 miles to Anaheim, Calif, They stored the goods in a U-Haul truck which was discovered by CHP Border Division’s Cargo Theft Interdiction Program this past Friday according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) Border Division. Police discovered the stolen sneakers and tools the thieves used to break into the train containers. One specific pair of sneakers found among the stolen goods was the Columbia Air Jordan 11s, which were set to come out soon. The seven thieves have been charged with felony grand theft of cargo and are awaiting trial.
