Playboi Carti Arrested On Gun And Drug Charges

Playboi Carti was arrested on gun and drug charges in Georgia on Thursday.

The “Shoota” rapper was pulled over in a Lamborghini with an expired tag by members of the police department’s “elite COBRA strike force,” the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

Cops said the 23-year-old artist, real name Jordan Carter, was reportedly in possession of 12 bags of marijuana, 3 guns, Xanax, codeine, and oxycodone.

He and another person who was in the car with him were both taken into custody and are “now facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail known as the Hill-ton,” the statement said.

Iggy, 29, and Carti currently live together and are rumored to be engaged.
