Pharrell Williams' Grammys Hat Auctioned To Arby's For $44,100

Pharrell Williams is now hatless, but still happy.
The 40-year-old singer auctioned the Buffalo hat he wore to the Grammys on eBay Sunday as a fundraiser for his charity for at-risk teens, One Hand to Another.

The winner of the auction? Fast-food chain Arby's, who coughed up $44,100 for the Vivienne Westwood topper.
"Thank you to whoever bought my Grammy hat on @eBay for $44,100," Williams tweeted. "Your donation benefits From One Hand to Another."

Arby's replied: "You're welcome. We're HAPPY to support a great cause & get our hat back. Good luck at the #Oscars tonight!"
"What a pleasant surprise," Williams wrote back. "Thank you @Arbys, our roast beef is now officially well done."

The Arby's logo features a hat that looks much like the one Williams sported to the Grammys. The fast-food company first called attention to the similarity shortly after the Grammys aired.
"Hey @Pharrell, can we have our hat back?" the chain tweeted.

Pharrell may have sold his old chapeau to Arby's but it looks like he had a backup. The singer wore another of the same kind at the Oscar ceremony, where he performed the song "Happy." Host Ellen DeGeneres later used the hat to collect funds for the pizza she ordered mid-show.
