Phaedra Parks Will Not Return To ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Next Season

Get ready for a casting shakeup when "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" returns for season 10.

Phaedra Parks will not be returning to the hit Bravo reality show for the upcoming season, E! News reports.

The news of Parks' departure from the drama-filled show comes just one day after the explosive wrap-up to the season nine reunion special.

At the Andy Cohen-hosted sit-down, it was revealed that Parks, 43, was behind a bombshell rumor that co-star Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker were planning to drug and rape fellow cast mate Porsha Williams.

During the special, which aired in four parts, Phaedra, Kandi and Porsha went back and forth hurling accusations and denials toward one another, with Phaedra repeatedly denying Porsha's claims that she had spread the rumor.

After it was clear she would not be escaping her lie, Parks eventually offered up an apology to her fellow housewives.

"What more can I do? I apologized already and the person I'm most concerned about is Porsha," she said on the reunion special. "I'm sorry that it hurt Kandi as well."

The Georgia lawyer first joined the franchise's cast in 2010. In 2014, she filed for divorce from her husband - and the father of her two children - Apollo Nida, who is currently serving an eight-year prison sentence for bank fraud. The divorce has since been thrown out, as Nida claimed last December that he had never been served.

Meanwhile, as Parks departs, Kim Zolciak-Biermann will make her return after leaving the show in 2012.
