Anyone who watches 'American Idol' knows that Simon Cowell is probably the most essential of the four judges. So, does that entitle him to a 400 percent raise when he already makes $36 million a year from the hit show?
New reports say that's what Cowell may pocket thanks to new contract 'Idol' negotiations. According to a report in The Guardian (via the New York Post), Cowell has reportedly been offered between $100 million and $144 million per year to stay on as an 'Idol' judge. His current contract is set to expire in May.
