Forbes Magazine has released its annual list of 100 most powerful women, and apparently the celebrity grip on society has loosened a bit.
While innovators and world leaders like Sheryl Sandberg and Michelle Obama crowd the Top 10, two of entertainment's most powerful women, Beyoncé and Oprah Winfrey, make it into the Top 20.
Oprah, who held the No. 3 spot in 2010, came in at No. 13 this year, while Queen Bey clocks in at No. 17. Two years ago, the "Single Ladies" singer was No. 9.
The other celebrities scattered around the Top 50 include Angelina Jolie at 37, Sofia Vergara at 38, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour and pop star Lady Gaga as Nos. 41 and 45.
The magazine notes that most celebrities on this year's list also have charitable or entrepreneurial endeavors - like Oprah's Academy for Girls in South Africa, Beyonce's House of Dereon fashion line and Angelina Jolie's several humanitarian efforts - that have made them the most influential.
Closely clicking in at No. 51 is talk-show favorite Ellen DeGeneres and singer Shakira at 52. And finally, Dianne Sawyer, No. 73, and Gisele Bundchen, 95, round out the celebrities in the Top 100.
