Oprah Gives Lindsay Lohan A Reality Show On Her OWN Network

For those who couldn’t get enough of Linsday Lohan’s escapades in the gossip columns, the troubled starlet has landed her own reality television series.

Lohan has signed up with the Oprah Winfrey Network for an eight-part series chronicling the 27-year-old actress’ attempt to reboot he career after years of legal and drug and alcohol issues, Entertainment Weekly first reported.

“OWN will air an exclusive interview with Oprah and Lindsay Lohan that will tape and air in August and an eight-part documentary series with Lindsay for 2014,” an OWN spokesperson said in a statement obtained by the Daily News.

It’s the latest coup for Winfrey, who was also the first to interview Lance Armstrong after his blood-doping admission in January.

It’s also the latest step in Lohan’s comeback in a week which also saw the release of the trailer for her upcoming film, “The Canyons.”
