OMG! HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THE WORLD'S SHORTEST MAN?

A Nepalese man has won a world record for coming up short.

Chandra Bahadur Dangi was officially recognized as the world's shortest living man, Guinness World Records announced Sunday.

The pint-sized 72-year-old who lives in a remote mountain village about 250 miles west of Kathmandu stands just 21.5 inches, two inches shorter than Junrey Balawing, the Philippines man who previously held the record.

"I'm continually amazed that this record keeps getting broken," said Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief, Craig Glenday. "Just when you think it's impossible for the record to get any smaller, Mr. Chandra comes along and astonishes us all by being the shortest person ever measured."

Dangi is also an inch shorter than Gul Mohammed, an Indian man once recognized as the shortest ever verified by Guiness.

"Mr. Chandra has probably encountered difficulties with his size," Craig said. "But hopefully this new title will open up a whole world of opportunities."
