IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

An actress who appeared on the USA show “Shooter” is suing star Omar Epps, claiming he improvised an action scene and ended up breaking her arm.

Donzaleigh Abernathy claims she was filming a scene with Epps in May 2016 for “Shooter” — in which her character is supposed to get murdered by Epps’ character — when he “completely deviated from the script” and “threw his left forearm with full force at [her] right arm,” and broke it, TMZ reported.

Abernathy, who was 59 at the time, claims Epps, who was 43 at the time, was negligent and reckless with how he physically handled her while filming. Abernathy also alleges Epps injured her back.

Abernathy is suing Epps and Paramount Pictures for negligence and assault and battery. She’s asking for damages for her pain and suffering and wants current and future medical costs covered.
