OH! RATS! THIS IS WHY YOU NEVER FALL ASLEEP ON A NYC TRAIN!

Just when you thought it was safe to sleep on the subway, a rat climbs up your body and touches your face.
A YouTube video recently posted Wednesday depicts a New York straphanger’s worst nightmare: a rat scurrying around a subway car.

The video shows footage of the brown rodent zipping down the aisle and underneath one rider’s feet before making his ascent up one unlucky man’s body.

The rat sprints up the man’s leg, onto his shoulder before brushing past his face. The startled man waves the rat away and the pest scurries off the seat and back onto the aisle.

In a survey released in October, rats still rule the city as the Big Apple’s biggest nuisance, with Harlem dubbed the "rattiest" neighborhood.
