East and West Coast rivals Tupac and Biggie are uniting on the small screen.
A new USA Network series "Unsolved" began filming this week, featuring actors Marcc Rose and Wavyy Jonez portraying the late famous rappers.
An image of Jonez and Rose bearing a striking resemblance to the artists was captured this week out in L.A. while they were embarking on the first day of filming.
Rose, 24, previously portrayed Tupac in the film "Straight out of Compton." This will mark Jonez's first acting role — he was discovered via a casting call specifically for the role of Biggie.
The image of the duo was shared by TMZ. most fittingly on the 20th anniversary of Biggie's death.
The Notorious B.I.G. was shot and killed in Los Angeles in 1997 at age 24.
His death came just a few months after the killing of Tupac, 25, in Las Vegas.
"Unsolved" is a true crime series that will take a look at the police investigations that ensued following each murder.
Both of the stars' deaths remain a mystery to this day.
