A California nightclub that thought it would be hosting a Snoop Dogg concert is going to court. El Potrero Night Club filed a lawsuit against One Blood/Red Eye Entertainment for allegedly taking 40-thousand-dollars to organize the show. Court documents allege that One Blood approached El Potrero and claimed to be a booking agent that was negotiating concerts for Snoop. On August 27th, El Potrero executed the contract and sent 20-thousand-dollars to One Blood. However, problems soon arose when El Potrero went on Los Angeles radio station Power 106 to try and promote the concert. Reps for the radio station raised questions about the show, and told El Potrero that the contract was fake. Despite Power 106’s warning, El Potrero sent One Blood the remaining 20-thousand-dollars on September 15th. When the date of the concert arrived, One Blood informed El Potrero that Snoop Dogg was not in town and wouldn’t be performing. El Potrero is now seeking 100-thousand-dollars for breach of contract, fees, expenses and lost profits. Snoop Dogg has not been named in the lawsuit.
