Nicki Minaj Visits Brother In Jail After Child-Rape Conviction

It’s hard to imagine rap superstar Nicki Minaj doing anything under the radar — but she quietly visited her convicted child-rapist brother in a Long Island jail last week, according to a new report.

Gossip website TMZ broke the news Wednesday that Minaj went to the Nassau County Correctional Center ​in East Meadow ​with her mother, Carol.

Carol hadn’t seen her son, Jelani Maraj, since he was convicted Nov. 9 of repeatedly raping his then-11-year-old stepdaughter.

Minaj hadn’t testified on her brother’s behalf, as defense lawyers had hoped. And the star isn’t on the best of terms with her brother, the website notes, but went to see him on the down-low as a favor to her mother.
