Nicki Minaj Responds To Nas Dating Rumors

Nicki Minaj won’t admit to dating Nas, but she won’t deny it entirely, either.

The hip-hop duo sparked romance rumors last week when Minaj posted a cozy photo with Nas on Instagram.

“He’s so dope,” Minaj, 34, gushed on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Tuesday. “He’s the king! He’s such a king … He is the king of Queens, and I’d like to think I’m the queen of Queens.”

When DeGeneres asked Minaj flat-out if they’re an item, she coyly replied, “

He’s a rap legend, so let’s just say that I have a lot of respect for him. And, you know, he’s kind of cute, too.”

Minaj confirmed that she and the “Illmatic” rapper have had “sleepovers,” saying, “We have! Yep. I go to him. I thought him coming to me was too forward.”

But she was quick to make one point when DeGeneres pressed her for details on “doing the nasty.”

“But let me clarify: We didn’t do the [nasty] because I’m just chillin’ right now. I’m celibate. I wanted to go a year without dating any man. I hate men. But I might make an exception to the rule for him because he’s so dope.”

She added, “[Nas] definitely doesn’t know I’m really going to talk to you about him. Sorry!”
