Nicki Minaj Reacts To DJ Khaled's Marriage Proposal

Nicki Minaj has set the record straight about her marriage proposal from DJ Khaled.
"Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that damn proposal, y'all," the 30-year-old rapper told Funkmaster Flex Monday.

In an attempt at masterful publicity for his upcoming album, "Suffering from Success," Khaled popped the question to his labelmate during a segment on MTV News Thursday.

"I want to marry you," he said on air holding, a 10-karat, radiant-cut diamond ring worth approximately $500,000. "We got the same symptoms, we're both suffering from success."

Minaj hasn't spoken to Khaled about the stunt directly and admitted she didn't even know he was going to do it.

"I was shocked just like the rest of the world and I was cracking up laughing with the rest of the world 'cause Khaled is a master at what he does," she told Flex. "It was just another way for him to kinda give the world a glimpse on the feeling of this record."
