Nicki Minaj wasn’t kidding when she rapped “Bentley tints on / Fendi prints on” in her song “Chun-Li.”
On Sunday, the “Barbie Dreams” artist, 36, hinted that she’s working on an all-pink collaboration with the Italian fashion house.
Minaj posted a video on Instagram wearing a furry hot pink jacket covered in Fendi logos, along with a matching skintight skirt ($1,190) and fuzzy trucker hat. Even Nicki’s blond bob wig was printed with the luxury label’s signature double-F pattern.
“All I’ll say is dreams really do come true #FendiPrintsOn #ThatIsAFendiFakk,” she captioned the video, quoting both “Chun-Li” and her newest song, “Megatron.”
Minaj added that the look is “coming soon.”
The Grammy nominee has been a Fendi fan for years; in addition to writing the brand into her raps, Minaj has also worn Fendi logos in her music videos and album artwork. She also chose the label for a recent appearance on the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” and sat next to Fendi CEO and Chairman Serge Brunschwig in the front row of the brand’s Milan Fashion Week spring/summer 2019 show.
Representatives for Fendi did not immediately respond to Page Six Style’s request for comment, but both the brand’s Instagram account and its creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi commented on Minaj’s post, sharing enthusiastic heart and fire emojis.
