Nicki Minaj Goes On Twitter Rant About Ex Safaree Samuels

Nicki Minaj was bang banging out the tweets to her ex Safaree Samuels on Satuday.

"Even when I try to protect ppl, they still try to take advantage of me," she wrote, alluding to her former flame, according to Us Weekly. "Haven't u learned that God is in control? Stop while you're ahead."

The 32-year-old rapper -- whose third studio album "The Pinkprint" was released on Dec. 15 -- and Samuels grew up together in Queens and were a couple even after Minaj acquired fame. But somewhere along the way things began to sour.

"This is somebody I grew up with," the "Bang Bang" rapper told Power 105's Angie Martinez in a recent interview.

"I don't even know how I'm going to function without that person in my life," Minaj said of Samuels. "I never lived my life as a famous person without him. I don't think people realize it's not just a breakup that was a humongous part of my life."

Now that the "Ananconda" rapper is trying to move past a love she never seemed to want to end, her heartache could be read between the lines of her Twitter rant Saturday.

"Anything you don't appreciate will be taken. God sees your ungrateful evil soul. I gave and gave and gave. Threatening me? Blackmail? Jump," she tweeted. "30K watch the night my cousin was killed on the street like a dog. More than rappers. But it was never enough. Don't make me. Too much love.

"Wanted fame. I gave u my blessing. I still love. I still love. I'll always love. So disappointed," she continued, pulling lines from her hit "Pills N Potions."

"Told u it was the wrong move. I sheltered and protected u for years. Loyal for years," Minaj wrote. "Add up them chains watches bracelets rings cars bikes trexs babe. Stop sending money to floss on IG. That doesn't last. Love lasts."

Still, despite Minaj's accusations of carrying Samuels up the ladder to success, he said it's quite the contrary.

"Stop looking for pitty (sic)… u handle your business why can't I?" he tweeted Saturday. "Its not bout fame its about respect and you've had 0 for me the pass few years. The 0 respect u had for me at home had nothing 2do w/music."

Samuels went on to add that he's "disappointed" about the public's sympathy for Minaj over their breakup due to her fame and the fact that they were airing out their dirty laundry on Twitter.

"Its so ridiculous that instead of hitting my phone u come on here," he wrote. "I cant believe were doin dis. We use 2 laugh at ppl 4 this."

Seemingly agreeing with his point about their public disagreement, Minaj tweeted an apology to her fans: "I'm sorry. My fans know this isn't me. Hate this. But I'm human. I do so much. Too much. No man would have stayed loyal in this game like me."
