Nicki Minaj And Fetty Wap Are Not Dating

Two weeks after Nicki Minaj wrote a cryptic Instagram post many believed to be aimed at Meek Mill and their breakup, rumors pair her and Fetty Wap together. However, the talk is completely false.

XXL confirms Fetty and Nicki have met for a very few, brief meetings but are not a couple.

There is no truth to Hollywood Life‘s report that Nicki is happy about the speculation. According to a source that spoke with the site, the Barbie isn’t the New Jersey rapper’s new “Trap Queen,” but they have developed a close friendship.
Fetty did recently collaborate with Nicki for his new single, “Like a Star,” so the two of them being friends isn’t far-fetched.

Less than a week ago, Meek posted what appeared to be a thirst trap of Nicki onto his Instagram page, but deleted the post a short time later, which likely led to more speculation that they split.

In more positive news, Nicki can look forward to welcoming the new year with a TV special. The rapper will be featured in a movie on BET centered on The Pinkprint Tour. In a preview of the program, Nicki opens up about appreciating the special moments she’s experienced during her career.

“Most of the times, I can’t even believe how many people are out there,” she says. “So I’m just onstage in awe of that and being grateful for that. I learned that I have to try my best to stay in these moments, because some of these things that happen to me are once in a lifetime experiences and I’ll never get to do it again.”
