NE-YO & HIS GIRLFRIEND WELCOME THEIR FIRST BABY! IT'S A BABY GIRL NAMED MADILYN GRACE SMITH!

Ne-Yo's new album hasn't dropped yet, but he is celebrating a more important new arrival -- his first child.
The R&B singer's girlfriend, Monyetta Shaw, gave birth to a baby girl, Madilyn Grace Smith, Friday night, people.com reports.

"As my life transforms due to the new life that sprung up on me last night, it's good to know my folks support. Luv y'all," the 31-year-old dad tweeted from Atlanta, Ga. "Brand new baby, brand new album. Life is GOOD!!!! Nov. 22nd, around the corner!!!"

The baby reportedly came two months early while Ne-Yo was at a charity event, which the "Let Me Love You" singer promptly left to rush to Shaw's side.

This is not the musician's first brush with fatherhood.

In 2005, Ne-Yo's girlfriend at the time gave birth to a boy named Chimere, but it turned out the baby was fathered by another man.

Ne-Yo's fourth album, "Libra Scale," is on sale Nov. 22.
