Usher got ROCKED last night during a concert in Madison Square Garden -- when a frenzied female fan got a little too excited ... and kicked the singer square in the face with her stiletto.
The singer pulled the girl on stage for a special serenade -- but it all came to a screeching halt after she was moved by the spirit ... and accidentally punted Usher's head.

Thankfully, Usher didn't show any immediate signs of injury, saying, "We play rough in the bed ... We kick each other in the face and all that good stuff."
