Wale recruits a squad of pretty young things for his "My PYT" video. The Washington, D.C. rapper debuted the Collin Tilley-directed clip at New York City's Panorama festival this past weekend on the Google Play Music Block, where it flashed across LED screens for 80,000 attendees before and after Kendrick Lamar's set.
Wale soaks up the sun alongside some PYTs in a lavish mansion for the colorful visual. The Dope Boyz-produced release -- which features DJ Sam Sneak and references Michael Jackson's 1983 classic "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" -- follows Wale's recent life-changing celebration after the MMG signee welcomed a baby girl with girlfriend, Chloe Alexis, earlier this month. "I never cried and smiled at the same time until today," he tweeted.
"My PYT" serves as the lead single off Wale's forthcoming fifth studio effort, Shine, arriving this fall courtesy of Maybach Music Group/Atlantic Records.
