NEVER BEFORE SEEN FOOTAGE OF ICE CUBE PERFORMING "STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON" TO BE SHOWN ON THE JIMMY FALLON SHOW!

NBC's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" next week will add a novel twist to the usual summer rerun.
A new performance.

Producers of the show are adding a never-before-seen-on-TV performance by Ice Cube to a rerun of "Late Night" airing Wednesday at 12:35 a.m.

"This is the perfect example of how much fun our show is, even when the cameras aren't rolling," Fallon said in a statement.

Ice Cube was the lead guest when the show was originally taped. And each night before the show starts, the house band, the Roots, plays to warm up the crowd.

Turns out, Ice Cube was sitting in with the band and performed the N.W.A. classic "Straight Outta Compton." The performance was captured by a "Late Night" staffer with a digital camera.

The footage was then matched up to the audio recorded in the studio, creating a new performance piece being added to the rerun next week.

"Ice Cube and the Roots put on an awesome show for the studio audience that night," Fallon said, "and I'm so excited we now get the chance to

show it to everyone else."
