The sexual assault lawsuit against Nelly has been dismissed.
Monique Greene’s lawsuit was dismissed earlier this week with prejudice, which means Nelly’s accuser cannot re-file the case at a later date, The Blast reported.
“Both Parties have mutually agreed to drop the lawsuit,” Nelly’s attorney told Page Six in a statement. “No settlement or money changed hands.”
Greene claimed that the “Country Grammar” rapper sexually assaulted her on his tour bus in October 2017. Green refused to testify against 43-year-old Nelly, saying the pressure was too much to handle, so she dropped the rape charges and sued him instead.
Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., counter-sued Greene for defamation after she sued him for sexual assault and defamation.
