Nelly is firing back at the woman accusing him of rape.
The rapper filed a countersuit against Monique Green, who is suing Nelly for sexual assault and defamation. His suit states that she came on to him and then lied about the encounter and reported him to police, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
The lawsuit filed in Seattle on Friday alleges Green was in the VIP section of Nelly's show and began flirting with him before joining him and a group of others on his tour bus.
Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes Jr., claims the two had consensual sex, but Green became "aggressive and disruptive" when a backup dancer entered the room. Green called an Uber from the bus and called police to report Nelly for rape.
He was arrested on a rape charge and later released. The criminal case was dropped when Green refused to cooperate with prosecutors.
The documents also state that the 43-year-old artist believes Green made false statements as a "malicious" attempt to get him prosecuted, TMZ reported.
Green sued Nelly in late December for the alleged sexual assault she claims happened on his tour bus in October. This week, she filed an amended suit that included two other unidentified women, who claim Nelly sexually assaulted them.
The "Ride Wit Me" singer is asking her defamation suit be dismissed because he has the right to deny her claims, and he also filed a motion to strike her claims that he sexually assaulted her and the other women.
