Naya Rivera’s body was discovered Monday morning in the Southern California lake where she disappeared last week, according to a report.
The “Glee” actress was confirmed to be the body found Monday morning in Lake Piru, about 56 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles, law enforcement sources told TMZ.
“The recovery is in progress,” the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Twitter.
Rivera vanished Wednesday while on a boating trip with her 4-year–old son, Josey, in the lake.
Authorities said the body was discovered floating around 9:10 a.m. local time in the northeastern portion of the lake where she was last seen, KTLA reported.
Authorities have repeatedly said they believe she drowned while swimming.
