Boxing legend Muhammad Ali has landed in the hospital with pneumonia yesterday. Admitted to an undisclosed location in Louisville, KY, Ali’s prognosis appears to be good, according to his spokesman, Bob Gunnell.

Diagnosed with a mild case of the respiratory condition, the 72-year-old three-time champion is expected to have a short hospital stay. Ali also suffers from Parkinson’s disease, which has progressively prevented him from making public appearances.

"He was admitted earlier and because the pneumonia was caught early, his prognosis is good with a short hospital stay expected," Gunnell said in a statement.
