MOTHER & BOYFRIEND IS ARRESTED IN THE DEATH OF A 4 YEAR OLD BROOKLYN BOY!

The mother of a 4-year-old Brooklyn boy brutally beaten to death was arrested with her boyfriend Saturday night for the savage slaying of her child, police said.
Myrna Chen Phang, 25, and her beau, Steven Dadaille, 26, were charged with pummeling Jayden Lenescar with blows during a two-day beatdown that left him dead Friday afternoon, law enforcement sources said.

The 3-foot-9, 54-pound preschooler was pounded on his slight torso, his thin arms and his legs - the couple using their fists to inflict the damage, the law enforcement sources said.

The medical examiner's office ruled the death a homicide, with an autopsy finding Jayden died of blunt force trauma.

Phang and Dadaille, her boyfriend of two months, implicated each other in the child's ghastly death, according to sources.

Each gave finger-pointing written and video statements asserting their innocence and blaming the other before police charged both of them with the murder, sources said.

It was unclear what set off the relentless beatings that ended with Phang calling 911 from her Crown Heights apartment on her birthday.

Dadaille pleaded his innocence as he and Phang were taken out of the 71st Precinct stationhouse on Saturday night.

"I didn't kill no baby," Dadaille said.

The boy's shattered father - who only had weekend custody of Jayden after splitting with Phang - sobbed as he pondered life without his beloved son.

They were last together two weeks ago, when Mackenzy Lenescar bought his son a hat.

"I didn't know it was the last time I'd see Jay alive," Lenescar said through tears near a makeshift memorial to his son. "I am still not believing this."

Lenescar received a phone call on Friday that his son was in the hospital, and quickly learned the grim news.

"He was my only child," the father said before breaking down. "I have nothing now. ...We didn't have enough time together. He was a quiet boy. He was a good boy.

"He didn't deserve this."

Lenescar and other relatives gathered in the lobby of the mother's building on Eastern Parkway while she and her boyfriend sat with police.

The boyfriend was picked up by police hours after Jayden's death at a friend's home in Long Island.

The boy's overwrought grandmother was barred yesterday from entering the mother's apartment, where a cop guarded a door marked with crime scene tape.

Just last Sunday, Jayden called Yolette Charles "the best grandma in the world" - and now he was gone.

"He was so handsome - I wish he was here," Charles, 54, said as she cried. "I have a pain I can't describe."
