Mom Who Abandoned Her Baby On The Subway Says "F**k You" To Jay Z

You probably heard of the 20-year-old mother who abandoned her infant daughter on a New York City subway platform. The troubled young woman appeared in court yesterday and bizarrely and had a few choice words for Brooklyn rapper Jay Z, of all people.

“Is that rolling?” Frankea asked while starring into television cameras, which were present in the courtroom. “Someone tell Shawn Corey Carter I said, ‘F**k you. Piece of sh**.’”

She is currently being held without bail and did not enter a plea to the charges being brought against her. Her case is being handed to a grand jury. It’s unclear why Frankea insisted on sending such an angry message to Jay, but her family recently revealed that she struggled with mental health issues after witnessing the murder of the infant’s father.

“She really needs help,” Frankea’s aunt, Lawanna Edmonds said. “It’s not like she just abandoned the baby … Me personally, I think the child is looking for help.”

“I think she needs help,” added her father, Franklin Dabbs. “She’s been though a lot. Her boyfriend got killed. Her stepdad threw her out. It’s just sad.”

“Some guys with masks broke into the house and killed him,” he continued. “She was there hiding under the bed. I told her, ‘It could have been you.’”

The child has been placed in protective custody through the New York City Administration for Children Services.
