Mo’Nique Reveals The Only Way She’ll Stop Going After Tyler Perry

Mo’Nique has been clear about where she stands with Tyler Perry she revealed the only way she’ll put the beef to rest for good. The public feud dates back over a decade, when Perry labeled Mo’Nique as being “difficult to work with” after she did not fly out for an appearance during 2009’s Precious press run. The conflict runs deep because Mo asserts the rumors have cost her millions of dollars in potential opportunities. Since then, she has kept her foot on his neck about his actions because his “lie has cost me 12 years of my career. She spoke about why she’s still relentlessly going after Perry and what it would take for her to bury the hatchet. “Until he fixes it, I will not stop, because that’s how the monster is created. We’re too afraid, we’re too scared, we’re too fearful that you’re gonna take something from me, so I’m just not gonna say anything,” the 57-year-old talent said. She added she feels she needs to speak for the other people who have been affected by Perry’s actions and potential future victims. She continued, “As long as I can help it, I’m saying: ‘Tyler Perry you will not do this to another.’ As long as I can help it because you told a lie. And you feel like you have the God complex, so I ain’t gotta fix it. Either you’ll fix it in life or you’ll be dealt with in death… but I’m not going anywhere until you take accountability and fix it. Y’all messed with my livelihood, which messes with my family. So until they fit it, I’m not backing down. When asked about how she’d like the conflict to be resolved, she referenced how her situation with Lee Daniels panned out, as he gave her a public apology in 2022. She said since the damage was public, she demands the Diary Of A Mad Black Woman director should make his apology just as loud.
