Missy Elliott Sued For Not Promoting Her Concerts

Missy Elliott was set to perform 2 concerts in Brazil ... but never did put her game down, flip it, OR reverse it -- because she failed to promote the concerts, so now she's getting sued.

According to the suit, Missy skipped a scheduled national TV appearance on Brazil's Rede Globo. Missy was supposed to appear in November 2012 to pump up 2 shows set to go down later that month in Rio and Porto Alegre.

Jean Faustin, who booked Missy for the concerts, says her no-show screwed up ticket sales ... so he had to cancel the gigs. He says he'd already paid her a $75,000 deposit to perform -- so, he wants that amount back, plus interest.
