Mike Tyson and Lakiha Spicer first wed in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas in 2009 Mike Tyson knows a knockout when he sees one.
The former heavyweight champ, 44, said "I do" to wife Lakiha Spicer for the second time in Las Vegas over the weekend.
The couple, who first wed in Sin City in June 2009, surprised hundreds of their friends on Saturday who believed they were attending a joint birthday party that turned into a vow renewal ceremony, TMZ.com reports.
"My wife & I are getting ready to host friends & family tonight. Many we haven't seen in years," Tyson tweeted before the event. "It's going to be a great night."
Once guests arrived to the celebration, held at the M Resort, the pair reportedly disappeared behind a curtain that eventually dropped to reveal them in wedding attire
Tyson, 44, and Spicer, 34, then reaffirmed their vows in a traditional Muslim ceremony, followed by guests partying well into the night at the hotel's ballroom with a live band, according to the gossip site.
The reason for the couple's second trip down the aisle is reportedly because their first wedding was a small, intimate affair held just two weeks after the "Hangover" star's 4-year-old daughter tragically died.
The two are parents to daughter Milan, 2, and 6-month-old son Morocco Elijah. Tyson is also father to five other children.
During an appearance on "The View" last year, the former boxer praised Spicer, whom he has known for 17 years, for sticking by his side.
"I have an awesome life. I have an awesome wife who cares about me," he said. "I'm very grateful. I don't deserve to have the wife that I have; I don't deserve the kids that I have, but I do, and I'm very grateful."
Tyson was previously married to Monica Turner (they divorced in 2002) and actress Robin Givens (they split after one year in 1989).
